We've Got Deep Roots

the benefits of buying oso Cannabis – clean & NM Grown

In a world that is quickly becoming more health conscious, we consider things like taste, environmental impact, and health benefits in process of cultivating NM’s premiere medical cannabis.

Taste

Our method of using all-natural fertilizers and nutrients enriches the number of cannabinoids, terpenes, and terpenoids within our plants delivering organic cannabis which has higher numbers of compounds that essentially enhance both smell and taste. The flavonoids and terpenes not only add to the overall taste – terpenes also play a large roll in effect of the strain along with the frosted appearance of our buds.

Healing the planet, one bud at a time

Organic cannabis doesn’t destroy the earth during its growing process like non-organic cannabis does. Non-organic cannabis utilizes harsh, unsustainable chemicals to grow. These chemicals leave poisonous traces of mildew and metal in the soil, harming the earth- and your lungs. Our organic soils are packed full of macro-nutrients such as nitrogen, calcium, sulphur and phosphorus – allowing our plants to thrive and grow to their best potential.

Helping you make the right choice for your health

Recently, studies have shown that many unknown chemicals in non-organic cannabis can lead to an increase in respiratory problems (asthma and allergies). Going as green as possible ensures that you are receiving the absolute best quality medicine. Most importantly, cannabis has proven to have higher potency percentages which makes it ideal for patients suffering from chronic pain, cancer, insomnia, anxiety or other qualifying conditions.

Consumption Methods

Popular ways to use our cannabis products

EDIBLES

Edibles are for those who prefer to ingest their cannabis versus inhaling it. This is a great option as it can be convenient, discreet and easily administered whenever medication is needed. Types of edibles include baked goods, drinks, candies, lozenges, capsules, tinctures and more. Edibles can provide long-lasting symptom relief from the slow digestion of cannabis. Each edible product has a certain amount of cannabis which is then absorbed into the body through the stomach or gums, depending on the edible.

Flower

Another popular way to consume cannabis is by smoking the dried flower from the cannabis plant in a pipe, vaporizer, bong or joint. Upon inhalation, a chain reaction happens rapidly and delivers the cannabis efficiently into the body. There are different strains available at each Oso Cannabis location to help you achieve the result you are looking for. From Sativas, which tend to give you a more energetic effect, to Indicas, which typically deliver a more relaxed, low-key experience.

CONCENTRATES

Concentrates come in many different forms, like wax, shatter, sap, and hash oils. They are usually available in one gram and half gram portions. Concentrates are considered to be any product that is created through an extraction process, and are extremely potent. Concentrates can be consumed in a multitude of ways, the most popular being vaping or dabbing.

TOPICALS

Topicals are cannabis-infused lotions, balms, and oils that are absorbed through the skin for centralized relief of pain, soreness, and inflammation. They’re non-intoxicating, so topicals are often chosen by patients who want the therapeutic benefits of marijuana without the cerebral euphoria associated with other delivery methods.

Starting low
and slow

Microdosing is exactly what it sounds like: taking tiny doses of cannabis, doses so small that they don’t cause major psychoactive effects. If done correctly, you can take just enough cannabis that it offers health benefits without affecting your mental clarity or focus. Specifically for new patients, we suggest the concept of microdosing and here’s why:

When it comes to cannabis, light doses of THC can be used to help reduce pain, promote sleep, improve mood, increase creativity, and treat depression, stress, and anxiety. This method can be used to manage symptoms, or as well as a way to slowly and comfortably increase your tolerance over time.

New To Microdosing?

How to microdose with THC

The typical microdose is between two and five milligrams of THC, but can go up to 10 milligrams for those with a naturally higher tolerance. To begin microdosing, start with a two-milligram dose of THC. If you prefer to smoke, look for a strain that is low in THC and begin with taking one puff. Wait at least 10 minutes to see how you feel before taking another. Consume the same amount of milligrams daily for a few days and closely monitor how you feel, keeping a journal and noting which product you consumed can be an excellent resource for both yourself and for the budtenders who are assisting you in building out your personal regimen.

If you are starting to feel the desired benefits with no feeling of being high, then you can take the opportunity to slowly increase your intake by a milligram at a time. Most microdosing consumers start with dosing twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, depending on the desired result. The amount taken and the time of day will always vary from person to person.

Works like
salt & pepper

Because of the growing popularity, some people may prefer using CBD for microdosing THC because of the benefits like pain relief or reducing anxiety. Choosing one over the other is personal preference. Most people need a high dose (between 10 and 100 milligrams) of CBD to feel the effects, but with THC, they’ll need a significantly lower dose to feel the intended effect.

Figuring out the proper microdose for yourself requires a little bit of trial and error. Learning how to microdose is a process, since everyone’s body Is different, and due to the heterogeneous nature of cannabis. What is too much for one person, may not be enough for another.
